What Shoppers say about VieVie...

This store is fabulous, and most definitely offers some of the best shopping in San Francisco.  I shop at Vie Vie everytime I'm in the city, and I can always find something beautiful and unique!  I love the lines and styles that the owner carries for the store.  He is always really helpful and kind.  I have never had a negative experience, and to those below that say they have, I definitely suggest giving this amazing boutique another look.  If you don't, you're definitely missing out.

I totally understand what you ladies are saying. I just love having a woman on the floor when I am shopping that can give me feedback.  That said, I visit this store EVERY time I am up in San Francisco.  The owner is an incredibly kind and gracious man. My friend, Lacey, and I spend a lot of time browsing all of the unique accessories they buy. I think quiet is misunderstood for unkind sometimes, but the gentleman who owns the boutique is just on the shy side. He usually does say hi whenever I walk in and though not super chatty, he is very helpful whenever I have questions.  :)

Vie Vie has long been one of my favorite shops in SF - and certainly on Union Street. The owner, Farhad, is this gentle, kind shopkeep who always has something special hidden in the back if you ask...from other sizes to "something sparkly", so never be afraid to ask for something if you don't see it on the racks. He carries mostly name brands (To the Max, BCBG, Laundry, etc) and always the most current coiture. He also has Cosabella lingerie and great designer sunglasses/accessories. His prices are completely on par with the same items in a department store...so you ladyyelpers who complain about prices can feel free to hoof it to Nordstrom's Rack and pour through the junk, or pay the regular fashionista prices at Vie Vie :-)

this store is great! they carry a really gorgeous line of jewelry called Sophia & Chloe. they always have new stuff and the staff is very friendly. i love shopping at specialty boutiques as opposed to stuffy, big name department stores. vievie is to the neighborhood bistro what mcdonalds is to macy' s,nordstrom,neim an marcus (whatever, take your pick). i'd rather eat at the neiborhood bistro, thank you very much. if you're in the san francisco area or plan on visiting, stop in. you'll love it!

I stumbled upon this store when on vacation.  Loved it!   We spent longer than we expected in the store and I found a couple of great tops that I wear often.  I will visit again next time I'm in San Francisco, for sure!

Charles David shoes and Cosabella undies and Dior sunglasses, oh my!  The three mannequins in the window at Vie Vie are in constant outfit flux, and its sometimes hard to choose which of the fashion-savvy trio you would most want to be, were you to be a stylish plastic person.  

Not cheap, but neither are you.

Interesting store and they carry a variety of brands, even branded accesories; a few handbags from Dior, Fendi, etc to Dior, Gucci and Fendi sunglasses. Most dresses and tops start around $120 - 250. They do have a small corner in the back with some discounted items (shoes and clothes). Bought a pair of BCBG shoes that were on sale and it was a good buy.

Picked out a birthday gift for my wife here. The owner as well as the woman that work there were very helpful - blunt, unsugar-coated, but helpful, knowledgeable and professional.
Unfortunately my wife didn't really like the gift, but I had arranged with the owner the possibility of an exchange in such a case. We went back, she selected another purse and all was good. Smooth, easy transaction. My wife loved the store selection and thought they had beautiful merchandise (not cheap, but worth the $$)
